Football Game Preview: Conroe Tigers vs. Cleveland Indians

Conroe is a perfect 3-0 against Cleveland since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Conroe is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 50 points last Friday, they were much more limited against The Woodlands on Friday. They were dealt a 59-10 defeat at the hands of the Highlanders. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Highlanders are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, Cleveland fell victim to New Caney and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 56-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Conroe's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Cleveland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything came up roses for Conroe against Cleveland when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 63-0 win. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
