Byrd is 10-0 against Caddo Magnet since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Byrd Yellow Jackets will face off against the Caddo Magnet Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Byrd is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Haughton onto the board and left with a 9-0 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Caddo Magnet had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

Caddo Magnet pushed their record up to 7-3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three matchups. As for Byrd, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3-3.

Everything went Byrd's way against Caddo Magnet when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Byrd made off with a 4-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Byrd since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
