Leading Edge Academy - GEC waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 57-48 win over the Bisbee Pumas.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mathew Solaiza led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. Solaiza is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Sam Sutherland, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Bisbee's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hunter Wright, who posted 20 points. Sebastian Lopez was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine boards.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Bisbee, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-41 loss against Lincoln Prep on the 10th. Bisbee has also already played their next game, a 74-43 win against Tombstone on the 9th.
