Softball Game Preview: North Sand Mountain Bison vs. North Jackson Chiefs

North Sand Mountain is 1-9 against North Jackson since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bison will venture away from home to take on the Chiefs at 4:30 p.m. North Jackson took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on North Sand Mountain, who comes in off a win.

North Sand Mountain's tournament run continued when they took on Clements on Friday. The Bison walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Colts.

Meanwhile, North Jackson didn't have quite enough to beat New Hope on Monday and fell 3-2. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Jackson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josie McClendon, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

The win got North Sand Mountain back to even at 10-10. As for North Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

North Sand Mountain couldn't quite get it done against North Jackson in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 12-7. Can the Bison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
