Football Recap: Serra Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Serra fell victim to Sierra Canyon and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 30-0 loss at the hands of the Trailblazers. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Trailblazers are ranked fourth).

A big part of Sierra Canyon's victory came down to the chemistry between Laird Finkel and his top target De'Markus Barnes. Finkel rushed for 55 yards while Barnes gained 84 total yards and a touchdown.

Serra has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Sierra Canyon, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
