Seneca skates past Crescent with ease

Recap: Seneca Bobcats vs. Crescent Tigers

The Seneca Bobcats can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 76-42 blowout they got on the road against Crescent. With Seneca ahead 38-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Leading Seneca to victory were Cam O'kelley and Jalen Craig. O'kelley scored 24 points along with two steals, while Craig scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. O'kelley is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Stu Finley, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.

Crescent lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brody Linker, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Linker also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Josh Airline was another key contributor, scoring six points.

Seneca's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Crescent, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seneca will take on Pendleton at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pendleton is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Crescent, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Walhalla at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. Walhalla has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three matchups.
