Volleyball Recap: Campbell Comes Up Short

Campbell had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corona del Mar Sea Kings.

The win keeps Corona del Mar at an undefeated 4-0.

Campbell will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nanakuli at 7:00 p.m. on September 2. This will be the Sabers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Corona del Mar, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Kailua on the 16th.
