College View Academy extended their winning streak to seven on Tuesday, bumping them up to 7-2. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since October 22, 2024.

As for Cedar Bluffs, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-11. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with College View Academy: they've now lost six in a row.

Despite the defeat, Cedar Bluffs saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kora Allmendinger had nine digs and six aces. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Allmendinger.

Coincidentally, College View Academy and Cedar Bluffs will both be playing Omaha Christian the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Guardians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
