Trenton played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They blew past the Sam Rayburn Rebels 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Trenton's got stronger as the match went on, holding Sam Rayburn to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-23, 25-13.

Trenton's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Sam Rayburn, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trenton is set to challenge their familiar foe Whitewright at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sam Rayburn will square off against rival Tom Bean at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
