Basketball Game Preview: Itawamba Agricultural Indians vs. Leake Central Gators

The Itawamba Agricultural Indians will challenge the Leake Central Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Itawamba Agricultural's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.

Itawamba Agricultural is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They snuck past South Pontotoc with a 73-67 victory. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Leake Central waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Cavaliers as they made off with a 77-53 victory. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

Leake Central's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Itawamba Agricultural, their victory bumped their record up to 17-8.
