It was a good run, but Bluffton unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bellmont Braves. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Braves from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Bluffton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Konley Ault, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 17 points and three steals. Isabella Stout was another key player, putting up 13 points and six rebounds.

Bluffton's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-2. As for Bellmont, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Bluffton will challenge Jay County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bellmont, they will take on Columbia City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
