Stratford had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They put the hurt on the Wando Warriors with a sharp 12-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Jachin Davis, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Stratford: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was JQ Crosby, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Stratford pushed their record up to 6-2-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games.
