With a playoff win on the line, Nixon rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Gregory-Portland Wildcats. The win was nothing new for Nixon as they're now sitting on three straight.

Pedro Zapata and Alexis Serna scored all three of Nixon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

Nixon's victory bumped their record up to 20-3-1. As for Gregory-Portland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8-3.

Coming up, Nixon will face off against Lopez on Monday. Lopez will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Nixon surely won't give up without a fight. Gregory-Portland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
