Recap: Mohave Thunderbirds vs. Prescott Badgers
The Mohave Thunderbirds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 63-18 loss at the hands of Prescott. Mohave has not had much luck with Prescott recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Prescott found their leader in underclassman Addie Prisciandaro, who scored 23 points along with nine steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Prisciandaro has scored at least a third of Prescott's points. Bella Abt was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Mohave has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Prescott, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
Mohave will take on Flagstaff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flagstaff is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games. As for Prescott, they will head out on the road to square off against Coconino at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Coconino is ranked 114th, while Prescott is ranked 107th).
