Soccer Recap: Independence Takes a Loss

Independence entered their game against James Lick on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Independence 76ers fell 3-1 to the James Lick Comets. The 76ers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-2. As for James Lick, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Independence will square off against Gilroy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for James Lick, they will head out to face off against Yerba Buena at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
