Softball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Shafter Generals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 last Tuesday.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Shafter, they pushed their record up to 12-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Kennedy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Delano at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Shafter, they will take on Sanger West at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
