Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cheatham County Central). They put the hurt on the Hunters Lane Warriors with a sharp 19-9 win on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cubs as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Clinton Canada and Lucas Hannah did most of the damage at the plate: Canada got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI, while Hannah went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. The dominant performance also gave Canada a new career-high in runs (three). Greyson Estes was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Cheatham County Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Cheatham County Central's win bumped their record up to 3-16. As for Hunters Lane, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
