Football Recap: Abraham Lincoln Takes a Loss

Abraham Lincoln lost against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Railsplitters fell 27-14 to the Blue Devils. The Railsplitters were down 27-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Abraham Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Abraham Lincoln will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Simon Gratz at 1:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, they will be playing at home against Hun on the 20th.
