Softball Recap: Windsor's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Windsor came into Saturday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Manchester Red Hawks by a score of 8-4 on Saturday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Hawks, too.

Aaliyah G and Ashley G did most of the damage at the plate: Aaliyah went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Ashley went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one triple. Those four RBI gave Ashley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah O, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.

Windsor's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Manchester, their loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-13.

Windsor will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Hawks: the pair will be back at it again later today.
