Basketball Game Preview: North Mahaska Warhawks vs. Pella Christian Eagles

Last Tuesday, North Mahaska escaped with a win against Oskaloosa by the margin of a single free throw, 39-38. The win continues a trend for the Warhawks in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Pella Christian posted their biggest victory since November 23, 2024 on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Colfax-Mingo 51-16. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Tigerhawks are ranked 266th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Mahaska's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Pella Christian, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14.
