Gibson County took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They strolled past Riverside with points to spare, taking the game 64-47.

Meanwhile, Scotts Hill came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Tigers 49-34.

Scotts Hill's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. As for Gibson County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.
