Bloom came out on top against Thornwood on Wednesday thanks in part to Halie Walter's efforts. Walter got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI and one double. The performance marked the most RBI she has had since back in April.

Walter's strong effort led Bloom over Thornwood and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blazing Trojan are a perfect 9-0 against the Thunderbirds going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
