Softball Recap: West Bridgewater Comes Up Short

West Bridgewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-8 to the Cardinal Spellman Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 back in April.

Alanna Fidalgo was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1 stolen bases per game. Brianna LaGrange was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

West Bridgewater's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Cardinal Spellman, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Coming up, West Bridgewater will face off against Rockland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cardinal Spellman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
