Basketball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Hazen Bison, falling 66-34. The Broncos were not able to make up for their loss to the Bison from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Brynley Differding and Carly Mairs certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Differding went 6 of 13 en route to 15 points, while Mairs posted six points.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hazen, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Lisbon will challenge Kindred at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hazen, they are taking a road trip to challenge Nedrose at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
