Recap: Mt. Vernon Rams vs. Salem Wildcats

After losing to Salem the last time they met, Mt. Vernon decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mt. Vernon Rams came out on top in a nail-biter against the Salem Wildcats on Tuesday and snuck past 4-2.

Danicah Tobin made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). Tobin was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with a home run and two runs.
