Football Game Preview: Bureau Valley Storm vs. Hamilton/Warsaw Titans

The Bureau Valley Storm will venture away from home to face off against the Hamilton/Warsaw Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Bureau Valley came up short against Illini West and fell 28-20.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hamilton/Warsaw). They blew past Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley 62-6 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Miners: they've now won four in a row.

Bureau Valley dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Hamilton/Warsaw, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Bureau Valley beat Hamilton/Warsaw 47-34 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Storm since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
