Basketball Recap: Washington Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Washington Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers 66-39. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 62-44 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Washington Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Anselm's Abbey, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Field at 6:00 p.m. on December 4. As for St. Anselm's Abbey, they will take on Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
