Box Elder has gone a perfect 9-0 against Northridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bees will be playing at home against the Knights at 3:30 p.m. Box Elder is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.
Box Elder is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Clearfield, who was ranked 25th at the time (Box Elder was ranked fifth). The Bees came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 5-1 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Bees in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won six in a row.

Kennadie Blackmer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
In other pitching news, Lucy Braegger looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
Back at the plate, Izibel Mason was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Clearfield, falling 13-1.
Northridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kiersten Carbone, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.
Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Box Elder, their win bumped their record up to 20-3.
Northridge's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Box Elder has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Northridge, though, as they've been averaging only 2.7 strikeouts. Will Box Elder keep running through batters, or will the Knights buck the trend?
Everything went Box Elder's way against Northridge in their previous meeting back in March, as Box Elder made off with an 18-2 victory. Do the Bees have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
