Baseball Recap: Samson Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Samson duked it out with Geneva on Monday. The Tigers came up short against the Panthers, falling 17-6. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

Samson now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Geneva, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Samson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-5 loss against Pleasant Home on the 24th. As for Geneva, they will head out to challenge Slocomb at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
