Pinnacle is 0-6 against Chandler since August of 2015 but things could change  on Friday. The Pioneers will welcome the Wolves  at 7:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Pinnacle's defense heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Thursday. They blew past Valley Vista, posting  a  61-0 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Monsoon: they've now won five in a row.
 Jackson Reader had a dynamite game, rushing for 76 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, while also throwing for 52 yards and one  TD. His longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Another player making a difference was  Matt Blaylock, who rushed for 59 yards and two  scores.

 Pinnacle didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Brayden Fricke,  Alex Lugo,  and  Kash Silva picked up one apiece. Fricke has been hot recently, having also posted  at least one  defended passe the last three times he's  played.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Chandler over Cesar Chavez in every quarter on their way to victory  on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wolves blew the Champions out of the water with  a  49-7 final score. With the Wolves ahead  35-7 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
 Pinnacle better keep an eye on  Will Mencl. He was instrumental in Chandler's win, throwing for 321 yards and four  TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Their leading receiver  Jai Jones was  Mencl's top target yet again, picking up 86 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
 Chandler's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Pinnacle, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
 Pinnacle lost to Chandler at home  by a decisive  35-19 margin  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2021. Can the Pioneers avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
