Softball Recap: Arroyo Has No Trouble Against Kennedy

Arroyo won the last time they faced Kennedy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Dons blew past the Titans 9-1. Considering the Dons have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Arroyo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Kennedy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-6.

Coming up, Arroyo will face off against Berkeley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dons are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Kennedy, they will square off against Irvington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.85 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
