Connor Langford Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Duluth's Connor Langford, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Langford threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns.
Duluth is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5. Langford and Duluth will welcome North Gwinnett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Ryan Hall and Co. Win Ninth in a Row
North Gwinnett picked up their ninth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Ryan Hall. Hall threw for 138 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 86 yards on only nine carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
North Gwinnett pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Hall and North Gwinnett will head out on the road to take on Duluth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Dillon Mohammed Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Sadly, Dillon Mohammed posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Norcross over North Gwinnett on Friday. Mohammed threw for 264 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Norcross moved to 7-2 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. Mohammed and Norcross will look to defend their home field on Friday against Brookwood at 7:00 p.m.

Another Game with at Least 108 Rushing Yards from Brian Stokes Jr
On Friday, Parkview had to settle for second even though Brian Stokes Jr put up the best numbers he has all season. Stokes Jr rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 108 or more in the last three games he's played.
This year, Stokes Jr has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 85.3 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 29 rushing yards per game.
