Soccer Game Preview: Cabrillo vs. Righetti

The Cabrillo Conquistadores are taking a road trip to take on the Righetti Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cabrillo has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with six straight defeats, while Righetti will come in with three straight wins.

Friday just wasn't the day for Cabrillo's offense. They came up short against Citrus Hill on Friday, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Righetti). Everything went their way against St. Joseph two weeks ago as Righetti made off with a 10-0 victory. Mark Pulido was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Righetti has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-1-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Cabrillo, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10-2.
