Oceanside is a perfect 6-0 against Morse since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mariners will look to defend their home court against the Shipbuilders at 6:30 p.m. Oceanside has given up an average of 61.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Oceanside ended up a good deal behind Gardiner and lost 69-50. While losing is never fun, the Mariners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Tigers are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Morse came into Monday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Waynflete by a score of 64-52 on Monday.

Morse's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Oceanside, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Oceanside didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Morse when the teams last played back in December of 2025, but they still walked away with a 62-57 victory. Do the Mariners have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Shipbuilders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
