Basketball Game Preview: Encinal Jets vs. Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons

Last Tuesday, Encinal was fully in charge, breezing past Mt. Eden 67-37. The Jets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 26 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Jazzy Alcantar, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in field goal percentage (67%). Another player making a difference was Kate Shafer, who posted eight points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Archie Williams had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against Santa Rosa by a score of 47-38 on Wednesday.

Encinal is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. Archie Williams' win bumped their record up to 16-11.
