Mountain Brook has gone 8-2 against Huffman recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Mountain Brook Spartans are taking a road trip to take on the Huffman Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Mountain Brook sitting on ten straight victories and Huffman on three.

If Huffman heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Mountain Brook took over last week. Mountain Brook enjoyed a cozy 52-37 win over Woodlawn on Tuesday. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Colonels are ranked 116th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Huffman was able to grind out a solid victory over Midfield on Monday, taking the game 55-44.

Huffman is also on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Mountain Brook, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
