Basketball Recap: Iroquois Braves vs. Seneca Bobcats

The Iroquois Braves were the 55-45 winner over the Seneca Bobcats when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Iroquois fell 60-53 to the Bobcats on Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Iroquois lost, one person who can't be blamed is Devin Brink. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brink has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kellen Burroughs, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.

Iroquois dropped their record down to 10-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Seneca, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Iroquois will square off against the Grape Pickers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seneca, they will head out on the road to take on the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwestern is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
