Jefferson win going away against Musselman

Recap: Jefferson Cougars vs. Musselman Applemen
On Friday, The Jefferson Cougars faced the Musselman Applemen in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Jefferson strolled past Musselman with points to spare, taking the game 33-14. For Jefferson, this counts as revenge for the 21-20 defeat Musselman walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.
Tay?Shaun Roper went supernova for Jefferson, picking up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 99 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Roper's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.
Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Musselman, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Musselman is also done with their season.
