Germantown put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Northwest Rankin Cougars 55-22. That 33 point margin sets a new team best for the Mavericks this season.

Germantown's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Northwest Rankin, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Germantown will host Humphreys County at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest Rankin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Choctaw Central at 7:30 p.m. The Warriors have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
