Basketball Recap: Wilcox Central Skates Past Southside with Ease

Wilcox Central had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Southside Panthers 50-17 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Jaguars have posted against the Panthers since November 13, 2015.

Wilcox Central now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Southside, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Thomasville the next time they take the court. Southside will head out to face Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Wilcox Central will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
