Softball Recap: Heritage Panthers vs. Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions

Heritage had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions out 9-8. The victory was just what Heritage needed coming off of a 25-0 defeat in their prior matchup.

Autumn Medina was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits (she also only allowed one walk). Medina was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

In other batting news, Addyson Schanz was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Alyssa Medina was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 3-for-5.
