Basketball Game Preview: Casey-Westfield Warriors vs. Tri-City Tornadoes

Having just played yesterday, the Casey-Westfield Warriors will jump right back in to play the Tri-City Tornadoes at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Casey-Westfield will be strutting in after a win while Tri-City will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Casey-Westfield was fully in charge, breezing past Lawrenceville 68-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Warriors have posted against the Indians since March 5, 2021.

Meanwhile, Tri-City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Edinburg. While losing is never fun, the Tornadoes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 514th, while the Wildcats are ranked 191st).

Casey-Westfield's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Tri-City, their loss dropped their record down to 11-16.
