Soccer Recap: Miami Springs Takes a Loss

Miami Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Golden Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 554th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 225th).

Miami Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Booker T. Washington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami Springs will challenge North Miami at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miami Springs is facing North Miami at the right time seeing as North Miami is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Booker T. Washington, they will square off against Norland at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Booker T. Washington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
