Soccer Game Preview: Mariemont vs. Roger Bacon

The Mariemont Warriors will face off against the Roger Bacon Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mariemont is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

Mariemont's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Cincinnati Christian. Considering Mariemont have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Cincinnati Christian from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Addy Zawaly led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Roger Bacon narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Wyoming 2-1.

Mariemont's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Roger Bacon, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8-5.
