Basketball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

Morgan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 69-24 loss at the hands of the Abbott Panthers. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Abbott, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Morgan will take on Avalon in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Abbott, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Abbott Panthers challenge the Aquilla Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
