Cleveland waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Walker Valley Mustangs. This was a revenge game for Cleveland: when they faced off against Walker Valley back in April, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Walter Amaya Bustillo was the driving force of Cleveland's attack as he scored both of Cleveland's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

Cleveland's victory bumped their record up to 12-3-4. As for Walker Valley, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-5-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Cleveland will welcome East Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Walker Valley, they are taking a road trip to take on Howard Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Walker Valley's defense better be ready for this one: Howard Tech have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season.
