Soccer Recap: Yucca Valley Victorious

Yucca Valley hadn't done well against Indio recently (they were 0-7-2 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Yucca Valley Trojans had just enough and edged the Indio Rajahs out 2-1. The Trojans didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Yucca Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Indio, they dropped their record down to 8-11-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Yucca Valley will venture away from home to face off against Coachella Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coachella Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Yucca Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Indio, they will be playing at home against Twentynine Palms at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indio is facing Twentynine Palms at the right time seeing as Twentynine Palms is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
