Recap: Whitney vs. Rocklin
The Whitney Wildcats have not lost a match since December 21, 2023, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Rocklin a 3-0 shutout.
Whitney was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jake Tyberg and
Ryan Paduveris, who scored all three of Whitney's goals. The pair have combined for a total of seven so far this season.
Whitney's win bumped their record up to 8-3-7. As for Rocklin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9-2 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitney will take on Monterey Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Monterey Trail will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Whitney surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rocklin, they will be playing at home against Rio Americano at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
