Basketball Recap: Raleigh Charter Takes a Loss

Raleigh Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 34-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Wake Academy Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Phoenix have suffered since November 22, 2024.

Raleigh Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for East Wake Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raleigh Charter will face off against NCSSM: Durham at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Raleigh Charter is facing NCSSM: Durham at the right time seeing as NCSSM: Durham is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Wake Academy, they will welcome Falls Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
