Softball Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

Phillips lost to Winston County back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Phillips' record is now 1-13. As for Winston County, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Phillips and Winston County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bears see the field they'll take on Marion County at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. As for Winston County, their break will end when they face Brilliant at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th.
